GitHub RoadShow #8, DevSecOps with GitHub and Azure

November 19, 2020

The 8:th stop on our Solidify GitHub Roadshow

On this event we will show you how to use GitHub to secure your DevOps pipeline and deploy to Azure. By using a shift-left strategy, DevSecOps redirects the security focus. Instead of pointing toward auditing at the end, it shifts to development in the beginning. We will cover the following topics:

  • Setting up a GitHub repo in a secure way with Pull Requests, Dependency checking, code scanning and encrypted secrets
  • Using GitHub Actions to setup your CI/CD pipeline and deploy to Azure to AKS
  • Monitor to continuously track and evaluate app behavior and report back to GitHub.

The GitHub Roadshow is a series of virtual meetings, presentations, workshops and demos aimed at answering every question you might have regarding software development using GitHub. We will tackle topics such as code collaboration, securing your workflows, extensions, and much more. In short, we'll take you through a project from start to finish, all while exploring the details along the way.

Our Mathias Olausson and Magnus Timner will lead you through this event.

The event itself will take place as a live webinar over Microsoft Teams on the 19:th of November, at 12.00 CET. Register through the registration link on LinkedIn and you will recieve a link to the Teams meeting on the day of the event.
