If nothing else, 2020 taught us that everything can be done remotely. At Solidify we have decided to embrace this and are taking things one step further as Jesper Fernström steps up as CEO of Solidify Norway. Jesper will take on this new role working remotely from his home in Storvreta, Sweden. Other than being a remote first champion Jesper has over 15 years of experience in the fields of DevOps and agile, ranging from full stack development on the Microsoft stack to coordinating fast paced product development with multiple agile teams. Over the years Jesper has also spoken at conferences and held countless workshops and classes.

We see this as a exciting way to grow and establish Solidify as a "top of mind" DevOps partner on the Norwegian market in a time when travel is challenging while working together across distance and borders have never been easier.

Terje Sandström who started up Soldify's operation in Norway will still be around as a senior advisor.

Jesper about his new role

This is such an exciting opportunity to put both my remoting and management skills to the test! I've been with Solidify for over ten years contributing to building the brand in Sweden primarily but also abroad when possible. When this opportunity presented itself it spoke to me at so many different levels and also brought back some fond childhood memories from many summers spent in Norway. Building a precense and establishing the Solidify brand in Norway will be both challenging and fun! I also look forward to a few trips across the border once the pandemic is over.
