The role:
As a Modern GRC Advisor at Solidify, you will play a vital role in reshaping how regulatory compliance and risk management are integrated into technological and agile workflows. We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual with expertise in GRC and a passion for blending legal, risk, and financial perspectives with the world of technology. In this role, you will collaborate closely with technology experts and be a crucial team player in an agile team setting.
Transformation:
You will be a driving force in incorporating GRC principles into the agile work methodology. You will also support GRC functions in their transformation to modern GRC. By bridging traditional silos and organizational domains, you will support and advocate for a holistic approach to governance, risk management, and compliance.
Technical Collaboration:
Working alongside technologists and agilists, you will collaborate to integrate GRC processes and principles directly into technology development. Your technical proficiency, while not an immediate requirement, will contribute to creating an efficient collaborative environment.
Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance:
You will develop and implement strategies for modern governance, risk management, and compliance. Leveraging your GRC skills, you'll bring a smile to our client's face by linking technology and GRC to ensure effectiveness and compliance with regulations.
Innovation:
As a forward-thinking Modern GRC Specialist, you will have the opportunity to explore and introduce new ideas to modernize and optimize GRC processes and systems. Your contribution will be crucial in transforming how GRC is integrated into technology-driven workflows, and vice versa, how technology-driven workflows can support GRC functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in consulting or GRC roles, especially within any of the three lines. Prior experience in regulated industries such as insurance or banking, showcasing a solid grasp of governance, risk management, and compliance in the financial sector. A bachelor's or master’s degree in a pertinent field.
Additional Considerations:
- Eagerness to learn and innovate, coupled with a readiness to contribute your unique ideas.
- Familiarity or interest in SAFe or other agile frameworks.
- Knowledge of regulations like AML, GDPR, ESG, and DORA.
- Proficiency in risk or compliance management frameworks and control frameworks.
- Relevant certifications like CISA, CISM, COBIT, or any experience with ISO 27001/2 will be an advantage.
